Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pucara.org\/post\/nuevo-veh%C3%ADculo-t%C3%A1ctico-del-ejercito-mexicano-el-ocelot\">Pucar\u00e1<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ocelotl is already being deployed, to two simultaneous Mexican Army operations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sinaloa &#8211;  Ocelotl vehicles <a href=\"https:\/\/www.infobae.com\/mexico\/2024\/10\/11\/cuanto-costaron-los-impresionantes-vehiculos-tacticos-ocelot-con-los-que-el-ejercito-combatira-a-los-chapitos-y-la-mayiza-en-sinaloa\/\">have been sent to the state of Sinaloa<\/a> to deal with the conflict between two factions of the Sinaloa cartel.  On October 10th, 100 Special Forces soldiers arrived to Sinaloa with 10 Ocelotl vehicles.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Michoacan &#8211; Ocelotl vehicles <a href=\"https:\/\/www.infobae.com\/mexico\/2024\/10\/11\/mandan-vehiculos-blindados-ocelotl-a-michoacan-se-encargaran-de-proteger-a-productores-de-limon\/\">have been sent to the state of Michoacan<\/a> to deal with the problem of cartel extortion of lemon producers, which has caused packing facilities to be shut down. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ocelotl armored vehicle is produced by the Streit company, headquartered in the United Arab Emirates.   It is a modified version of Streit&#8217;s Cobra 4 LAMV (Light Armored Multipurpose Vehicle).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some characteristics of the Ocelotl armored vehicle:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Automatic transmission with V6 Turbo Diesel engine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An  80 liter tank, allowing it to travel 400 kilometers without refueling. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maximum speed of 140 kilometers per hour.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Able to withstand explosives and high-caliber weapons.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A 360-degree rotating turret in which various weapons can be mounted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capacity to carry 11 soldiers .<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/mexiconewsreport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-22-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1276\" style=\"width:670px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mexiconewsreport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-22-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/mexiconewsreport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-22-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/mexiconewsreport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-22-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/mexiconewsreport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/image-22.png 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Ocelotls being moved.
