Click <a href=\"https:\/\/mexiconewsreport.com\/index.php\/2025\/03\/26\/president-sheinbaum-launches-construction-of-pachuca-mexico-city-train-route-has-lots-more-railroad-construction-planned\/\">here<\/a> for my previous article about the Mexico City-Pachuca line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On April 27, President Sheinbaum <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gob.mx\/presidencia\/prensa\/inicia-presidenta-claudia-sheinbaum-obras-del-tren-ciudad-de-mexico-queretaro-sera-inaugurado-en-el-ano-2027?idiom=es\">kicked off the construction of the Mexico City-Queretaro train line<\/a>.    Queretaro is northwest of Mexico City.  Its official name is Santiago de Queretaro and it&#8217;s the capital of Queretaro State.  <br><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"206\" src=\"https:\/\/mexiconewsreport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/image-6.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2245\" style=\"width:451px;height:auto\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Queretaro City and Mexico City.
