An article on the topic on the Mexico Daily Post says that “It should be recalled that at the end of July, an alleged FBI investigation into a company linked to Andy López Beltrán was reported. The company was allegedly linked to fuel theft and connections to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel.”
Although the angry public letter addressed to Trump was attributed to Andy Lopez Beltran, it’s been said that it was actually drafted by his dad AMLO.

Mexico Daily Post also reports that “According to journalist Salvador García Soto, in his column for El Universal, José Ramón López Beltrán and Gonzalo López Beltrán would also have lost their visas to enter the United States.” Those are Andy’s brothers.
